According to BBM Logistics, the goal is to minimize the socio-environmental impacts caused by traditional automobiles
BBM Logistics has added two new electric vehicle models to its current fleet. According to the logistics company, this initiative is part of a set of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) actions, which considered the emissions of CO2 gases that can reach a total of 61 tons for every 36,000 liters of fuel used.

The goal that led to the adoption of these actions is to minimize the socio-environmental impacts caused by traditional automobiles and, to achieve this, the company plans to take actions such as zeroing carbon emissions and atmospheric pollutants while electric vehicles operate, in addition to reducing noise. Furthermore, another positive consequence is that the production and operational chain of these electric vehicles generates a lower volume of waste, due to its lower need for the use of fluid oils.
Electric Vehicles Used by BBM Logistics
According to the logistics company, the electric vehicles were acquired through a partnership with the manufacturer JAC Motors, which is providing the Van BYD model and T3 e-delivery, with a range of 200KM; and the iEV1200T truck. BBM reported that both vehicles are 100% electric and are included in the project aimed at effectively distributing products for the client Henkel to the city of Campinas, as well as to Greater São Paulo.

“We want to present solutions to our clients for carbon reduction across the entire logistics chain. Only then will we be protagonists in building a better world,” highlights Prado.
