Brava Energia begins drilling in Papa-Terra and Atlanta and could change the game by reducing costs in oil while increasing production and strengthening competitiveness in the offshore market.
First announced last month, this innovative network aims to interconnect 13 offshore oil and gas production units, all located in the pre-salt region of the Campos Basin.
These units will be strategically connected to a main trunk, which will land at cable landing stations (CLS) located in both Rio de Janeiro and Santos, São Paulo.
With an impressive length of 442 kilometers, the main trunk will be equipped with 12 Branching Units (BU) and three Passive Branching Units (PBU), allowing for efficient connectivity distribution.
Moreover, this pioneering project already includes plans for expansion, anticipating the addition of 11 more connected platforms in the future.
The CEO of Blue Marine Telecom, Rodrigo Magarotto, expressed enthusiasm regarding this project, emphasizing its strategic importance.
Magarotto stated: “With the achievement of another major contract of strategic importance, Blue Marine solidifies itself in the Brazilian market as a highly specialized company capable of executing the largest projects in the segment.”
Pioneering Project Aims to Enhance Connectivity and Efficiency of Offshore Operations in the Pre-Salt Region
It is worth mentioning that Blue Marine Telecom is part of the Zmax Blueship Group, a Brazilian conglomerate that stands out for integrating navigation logistics with advanced engineering solutions focused especially on submarine optical and electrical systems.
Within this ecosystem, collaboration with Blue Amazon, specializing in offshore projects, plays a crucial role.
The project also has significant geographical implications, including the construction of a CLS in Anchieta, Espírito Santo, and the expansion of another in Barra do Furado, municipality of Quissamã, Rio de Janeiro.
With parallel projects underway in the Santos Basin, Blue Marine is definitely at the center of innovations shaping the oil and gas sector in Brazil.
The project’s completion in the Santos Basin is scheduled for December 2023, promising a more connected and efficient future for the country’s offshore industry.
