Professionals with Academic Experience Can Apply Until April 21 to Work as Thesis Advisors in the Specialization Course Offered by the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo. The Selection Creates a Reserve List with Compensation per Activity and 100% Remote Work.

The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes) is accepting applications to select thesis advisors who will work in the specialization in Management and Teaching in Distance Education. This initiative is part of the Open University Capixaba (UnAC/Ifes) program and is aimed at professionals with a compatible academic background and experience in advising final projects.

The selection is for a reserve list, which means that the approved candidates may be called upon according to the demand from the poles and classes of the graduate program. The work will be completely remote, with compensation per completed guidance, as defined in the official announcement.

Follow the schedules set by the course coordination
Provide methodological and technical feedback during the thesis production process

The selection is open to professionals from all over Brazil, provided they meet the criteria outlined in announcement No. 30/2025, available on the official Ifes website.

Application Deadline and How to Participate

Applications for the positions at the Federal Institute began on March 21 and will continue until April 21, 2025. The entire process is conducted online, through the official Ifes portal.

How the Work of the Advisors Works

The selected candidates will accompany the development of the Thesis and Dissertation of the students in the specialization. The activity involves:

Support in the choice and delimitation of the topic
Analysis of structure and scientific methodology
Content review and technical correction
Participation in the final evaluation process

Everything will be done remotely, using the virtual platforms of UnAC/Ifes, with support from the course’s pedagogical team.
