The Brazil Pavilion was organized through a joint effort by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Agriculture (MDA), and the Ministry of Foreign Relations (MRE).
This collaboration resulted in a space that attracted visitors, buyers, and international representatives interested in learning more about the diversity and quality of Brazilian production.
Exports Drive New Opportunities in the Latin American Market
During Expoalimentaria 2025, Brazil showcased a total of 32 exhibiting companies from different segments of agriculture, as well as another 20 indirect participants. Over 100 national products were displayed, generating interest in strategic markets.
Although Peru is one of the main destinations for exports, importing more than US$ 400 million in Brazilian products every year, the fair also opened doors for contacts with buyers from Argentina, Chile, the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Ecuador.
The Brazilian stand also featured the gastronomic space “Brazil Experience,” which offered tastings prepared with national ingredients.
This initiative combined flavor and cultural experience, bringing visitors closer to the consumption possibilities of foods and beverages produced in Brazil.
This type of action plays a fundamental role in expanding exports and valuing agriculture abroad.
Sustainability and Food Security on the Agenda in Meetings
In addition to the recognition for the stand, the Brazilian delegation took advantage of Expoalimentaria 2025 to advance issues related to food security and sustainability.
In just two days in the Peruvian capital, significant results were achieved. Among them, the highlight was the regionalization of avian influenza, which strengthens the country’s sanitary credibility, and the expansion of authorizations for the export of animal fats and meals.
These agreements were established after meetings between the secretary of Commerce and International Relations of Mapa, Luís Rua, and Peruvian authorities, such as the Minister of Agriculture Ángel Manero and the Director-General of the National Agrarian Sanity Service of Peru (Senasa), Vilma Gutarra.
Constant dialogue opens up opportunities for new achievements in the coming months, increasing bilateral cooperation and strengthening sustainable practices within the food and beverage sector.

International Cooperation Expands Brazil’s Presence at Expoalimentaria 2025
The parallel agenda of Expoalimentaria 2025 included strategic meetings, such as that promoted by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), focused on biosafety and the complementarity of Brazilian poultry and pig farming.
Meetings were also held with local businessmen and diplomatic authorities, such as the Brazilian ambassador to Peru, Clemente Baena Soares.
These initiatives reinforce the importance of joint action among government, the private sector, and international institutions.
With this movement, Brazil strengthens its presence as a reliable partner in markets throughout Latin America and beyond.
The award for Best International Stand adds to advancements in exports, sanitary agreements, and cooperation initiatives, solidifying the image of a country that seeks to unite competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation in agriculture.
