Moreover, specialists emphasize that the regional environment has changed significantly. Brazil, which exerted political, diplomatic, and even military influence in its immediate surroundings for over a century, now shows difficulty in responding to crises, instabilities, or external actions close to its borders.

According to the analysis exhibited by CNN, if a more serious crisis were to occur in neighboring countries, Brazil would have little room to maneuver to react in an autonomous and coordinated manner.
