In recent years, Brazil has stood out as one of the largest producers of clean energy in the world. Among the most significant examples is Renova Energy. The company started a $200 million project in Bahia, consisting of six data centers linked to a wind farm. The venture, aimed at an undisclosed client, seeks to consolidate clean energy as a competitive differentiator.

The CEO of the company, Sergio Brasil, highlighted that the strategy is to expand operations and capture new markets. This positioning demonstrates that Brazilian clean energy is not just an environmental issue, but also a strategic economic asset.

Furthermore, Eletrobras has also begun testing mining machines in a pilot project. The initiative combines wind turbines, solar panels, and batteries in a microgrid. The vice-president of innovation, Juliano Dantas, emphasized that the idea is to better understand this industry and assess its potential benefits.

Other states, such as Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará, are studying the implementation of similar projects, indicating that the trend of integrating clean energy and cryptocurrency mining may spread throughout the country.
