In a statement released to the market, Lourival Luz, CEO of BRF, said that with this investment, the company will be able to expand the production of key lines for BRF, which cater to both the domestic market and countries to which the company exports, such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The CEO of BRF also stated that the company has a robust growth strategy for the next 10 years, and certainly, Mato Grosso is an important part of this journey.

According to the company, more than 200 integrated producers of BRF in the state of Mato Grosso are expected to invest R$ 1.3 billion in their structures to increase housing capacity in the coming years. Since May, announcements of BRF’s disbursements in the states total around R$ 2.3 billion. They are part of the investment plan that the company presented last December, which foresees investments of R$ 55 billion by 2030.

Mato Grosso: Target For Investments

According to Mauro Mendes, governor of the state of Mato Grosso, like many other companies that have expanded their operations in Mato Grosso, BRF has found that the state is rich in potential. He emphasizes that he is confident that this company’s expansion will bring many benefits to the entire Mato Grosso population and appreciates the importance of BRF and its relevant role for the state.

Mauro highlighted that hundreds of companies have set up and expanded operations in the state in recent years, like BRF, as the actions taken by the current administration have created a favorable environment for entrepreneurship in Mato Grosso.

“Today we have legal security, equity in incentives, simplified environmental licensing, and reduced bureaucracy, in addition to a Government with credibility, an A rating from the National Treasury, and executing thousands of works and actions throughout the state. When the state is strong and the Government becomes strong, companies become interested in investing, and this brings jobs, income, development, and quality of life, which is the most important,” concluded the governor of Mato Grosso.

The investment will be directed towards the digital transformation of the factory in Minas Gerais and increasing the diversification of BRF’s high added-value portfolio.
