The Multinational BYD, Giant in Energy Equipment Production, Announced the Arrival of a New Brazilian Solar Panel That Promises to Revolutionize the Photovoltaic Market.

BYD, one of the global leaders in clean energy, recently announced plans to revolutionize the national solar energy market. The company revealed the launch of its new solar panel developed in Brazilian territory. This initiative represents not only a technological advance but also a milestone for the renewable energy industry in Brazil.

Brazilian Solar Panel Delivers Up to 575W

BYD’s decision to develop and manufacture the solar panel in Brazil also has significant implications for the local economy. This can generate jobs, boost the local industry, and position Brazil as an essential player in the global renewable energy landscape.

The multinational confirmed the launch of the new Harpia N-Type TopCon bifacial double glass solar panel with 555W-575W. The novelty will be presented at Intersolar South America, the largest solar event in Latin America, which took place from August 29 to 31 last year at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.

The equipment was entirely developed by the company’s research and development area in Brazil, in Campinas (SP). According to BYD, the new Brazilian solar panel delivers good energy efficiency, which means it provides greater savings in investment and maintenance costs, as well as the need for fewer panels and a reduced installation area.

In addition to a low thermal coefficient, the module features next-generation SMBB technology, which mitigates some of the module’s construction losses and, consequently, further enhances the product’s generation efficiency, with reduced rates of Light Induced Degradation (LID) and Potential Induced Degradation (PID) over time.

Benefits for Brazilians with the Production of BYD’s New Solar Panel

Solar energy is one of the most sustainable and clean ways to generate electricity. With the growing awareness of climate change and the need to reduce carbon emissions, the demand for clean energy solutions is increasing. The launch of this solar panel is a testament to BYD’s commitment to promoting a cleaner and more sustainable future.

In summary, the announcement of BYD’s new Brazilian solar panel is exciting news for everyone involved in the renewable energy sector in Brazil. It represents a step toward a more sustainable future and an opportunity for the country to establish itself as a leader in innovation in the segment.

BYD Will Also Bring Other Technologies to Intersolar 2023

During the Intersolar 2023, BYD Energy will also showcase its complete solution for clean energy generation and storage, as well as electric mobility.

Visitors will be able to explore the brand’s photovoltaic modules available in the national market, including the MLK 540W, Harpia Double Glass, and Harpia Single Glass models, as well as the APV and BIPV models.

At its booth, the company will present its complete line of high-quality and safety inverters, including on-grid and off-grid models, hybrid models, as well as energy storage solutions and automotive chargers from the brand, a 7.4 kW Wallbox, charging stations, and fast chargers.

It’s also worth noting that the company will bring a solar carport, a cover developed with the application of solar energy panels to serve as a roof in parking areas and generate energy. Alongside this space, the BYD Song Plus DM-i, an intelligent plug-in hybrid SUV from the multinational, which is also a car manufacturer, will be featured, bringing super hybrid DM-i technology. It is one of the best-selling models by the brand worldwide.
