The Investment in Solar Energy, Totaling R$ 300 Million, Was Announced by Trinity Renewable Energies and Covers Several Cities in the Northeast
Trinity Renewable Energies is committed to expanding solar energy in Brazil and announced a significant investment of R$ 300 million for the development of 15 solar power plants in the Northeast region. According to Portal Solar, this ambitious investment covers three distinct states: Pernambuco, Ceará, and Bahia, where the company plans to boost clean generation capacity.
The cities of Trairi, Baturité, Senador Pompeu, Jaguaruana, Morada Nova, and Várzea Alegre in Ceará; Irecê and Morro do Chapéu in Bahia; Sairé, Itaquitinga, Petrolândia, and Petrolina in Pernambuco are set to receive these innovative solar power plants. Trinity, responsible for the investment, is committed to completing the construction and delivery of all these units by the end of 2024, thus strengthening the clean energy infrastructure in the Northeast.
Path to Reach 100 MWp of Solar Energy
The development of solar power plants in the Northeast is part of Trinity’s ambitious plan to achieve a total capacity of 100 MWp by 2025. The company has already demonstrated success in its strategy in other locations, such as the municipalities of Itaguaí, Seropédica, and Vassouras in Rio de Janeiro, and Bom Sucesso and Mateus Leme in Minas Gerais. With a significant presence, Trinity provides solar energy to 14,752 households through these plants, reinforcing the importance of distributed generation.
