The BYD launched the Yuan Plus 2027 with an update that elevates the electric SUV, combining more performance, more space, and greater autonomy in the NEDC cycle.

In addition to the new motor set and the enlarged battery, the BYD Yuan Plus also arrives with design adjustments and is now sold in Brazil for R$ 269,990, available through an extensive network of dealerships.

Two motors and sporty performance

The main turning point of the BYD Yuan Plus 2027 is in the mechanics. Now there are two electric motors, one on each axle, delivering all-wheel drive with a total of 449 hp and 57.1 kgfm of torque.

With this setup, the BYD Yuan Plus 2027 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, entering the performance territory that usually attracts attention in sports cars.

Larger battery and declared range of 530 km

The BYD Yuan Plus 2027 has also evolved in the battery: it now has 74.88 kWh of capacity. The reported range is 530 km in the NEDC cycle.

BYD has not yet released national autonomy data, as has happened with other recent updates, so the range in local standards remains pending.

Larger trunk and extra compartment under the hood

In practical use, the BYD Yuan Plus gains a leap in trunk space. The capacity increased from 312 to 490 liters, reinforcing the family aspect of the SUV.

Additionally, there is an extra compartment under the hood with over 101 liters, useful for storing cables and smaller items without occupying the main trunk.

Price, dealership network, and colors available in Brazil

The new BYD Yuan Plus 2027 has a suggested price of R$ 269,990 and is available at the 211 dealerships of the brand in the country.

BYD offers the model in three colors: Time Grey, Skiing White, and Obsidian Black.
