The Infinity® by HARMAN sound system, with an integrated subwoofer, is also present, providing an enhanced audio experience.
Available in four exterior colors (black, light gray, dark gray, and white) and two interior combinations (blue with light gray and caramel with black), the model aims to meet the preferences of the Brazilian public.
Among the technological features, the head-up display stands out, projecting ADAS system information directly onto the windshield.
Additionally, there is remote control via the BYD app, with digital key through NFC and Bluetooth.
The DM (Dual Mode) powertrain combines combustion and electric motors, utilizing the brand’s Blade battery.
The range in 100% electric mode is 100 km under the NEDC standard and 63 km according to PBEV/Inmetro.
Premium Version With Greater Range
The premium version of the Song Plus 2026 features a new 26.6 kWh Blade battery, replacing the previous 18.3 kWh one.
This update allows for an electric range of up to 135 km in the NEDC cycle and 87 km under the Inmetro PBEV standard.
In addition, the version comes with fast charging of 18 kWh in direct current. The estimated charging time is less than 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Initially launched as a special edition in November 2024, the premium version has been permanently incorporated into the line.
According to Alexandre Baldy, senior vice president of BYD in Brazil, “the Premium started as a special edition but became part of the lineup due to demand.”
He also stated that “the new battery and connected features are direct responses to the behavior of our consumers.”
Price And Warranty
The BYD Song Plus 2026, for example, has a suggested price of R$ 249,990, reinforcing its competitiveness in the segment.
On the other hand, the premium version is sold for R$ 299,800, highlighting the brand’s focus on offering more sophistication.
Additionally, BYD offers a six-year warranty for the vehicle; while the battery, in turn, comes with an eight-year warranty with no mileage limit.
With these updates, therefore, the automaker expands its presence in the Brazilian market for electrified vehicles, gaining more prominence compared to the competition.
The brand continues to invest in models that combine modern design, advanced technology, and superior energy efficiency.
