Internship Positions at Caixa and CIEE Are Available Throughout Brazil. Applications for the Selection Process of CIEE for the Selection Process of Caixa Will Be Open Until April 30
Caixa Econômica Federal and the Center for Integration of Company and School – CIEE will conduct a selection process for filling internship positions for law, architecture and urbanism, and various engineering students. The internship positions are distributed throughout Brazil.
The selection process for filling the internship positions at Caixa and CIEE will consist of three stages. These are, respectively, registration, online test, and structured interview at Caixa’s unit.
The test for the selection process of CIEE for filling the internship positions at Caixa will be online and the candidate will have 2 minutes to answer each question on the test. The evaluation will consist of 20 questions, with 10 questions in Portuguese, 5 questions on basic computer skills, and 5 questions in mathematics for high school and technical students. For higher education evaluation, there will be 10 questions in Portuguese, 5 on basic computer skills, and 5 questions on specific knowledge for the student’s course area. Responses to appeals and publication of the official answer key and provisional classification lists will occur on May 16.

To be called for the interview, candidates must express interest within 2 hours of receiving the invitation email. CIEE may also contact via phone. For each offered position, the top three ranked candidates will be called for the interview. The candidate must present a resume when called for the interview and may go through the interview process three times. If they are not approved in any of them, they will be disqualified.
Prerequisites for Participation in the Selection Process
To participate in the selection process, it is necessary for the student to be regularly enrolled in public or private educational institutions, with effective attendance in Regular High School, EJA High School, Technical, and Higher Education courses recognized by the Ministry of Education; be Brazilian or foreign with a residence visa in the country; not have been dismissed for the benefit of public service; be current with electoral obligations, when over 18 years old, and military obligations, when male and over 18 years old; not have done an internship for a period equal to or greater than two years at CAIXA, except for people with disabilities, according to Article 11 of Law 11.788/08.
Additionally, it is necessary that at the time of signing the contract, the student must be enrolled in:
- Architecture and Urbanism and Engineering: at least the 5th semester to the penultimate semester of higher education courses;
- Law: at least the 5th semester and at most the 9th semester of higher education;
- Regular high school or EJA: from the 1st to the 2nd year, having availability to intern for at least 06 months;
- Technical level and/or integrated with high school: from the 1st to the penultimate semester of the courses, having availability to intern for at least 06 months.
The amount of the Scholarship Assistance will correspond to:
- For a workload of 4h daily/20h weekly for high school or technical: R$ 400.00 (four hundred reais);
- For a workload of 5h daily/25h weekly for high school or technical: R$ 500.00 (five hundred reais);
- For a workload of 4h daily/20h weekly for higher education: R$ 800.00 (eight hundred reais);
- For a workload of 5h daily/25h weekly for higher education: R$ 1,000.00 (one thousand reais).
The transportation assistance will be granted in the amount of R$130.00 (one hundred and thirty reais) per month.
