This Monday (19), Caixa Econômica Federal announced that it will open more than 10,000 job vacancies among employees and contractors for its workforce. According to the Bank, there will be around 4,000 job vacancies for permanent positions, 5,200 for interns and young apprentices, and 800 for receptionists and security personnel. There will also be an exclusive competition for people with disabilities.

Out of the 4,000 job vacancies, 3,000 will be aimed at calling up candidates approved in the ongoing competition, but approval from the Secretariat for Coordination and Governance of State-Owned Enterprises (Sest) of the Federal Government is required.
There will also be more than a thousand vacancies for people with disabilities approved in a new competition, with the announcement of the edital expected to occur by September of this year, according to Caixa Econômica Federal’s estimate.

Hiring for young apprentices will occur through a partnership with non-profit organizations, selected through a public call and partnered for this function, according to the apprenticeship law. Interns will be hired from the list of approved candidates in the selection process conducted by the Company-School Integration Center (CIEE).

The Employability of Contractors
In addition to people with disabilities, young apprentices, and interns, Caixa Econômica Federal will offer 800 job vacancies for the positions of security personnel and receptionists in its units, which will be filled through specialized companies.
For the hiring of professionals, companies will observe legal norms regarding receptionist and security activities, as well as contractual requirements.
Caixa Econômica Federal emphasizes that the hiring for these two positions will occur throughout Brazil, varying according to the needs of the units.
Caixa Will Open New Units
This Tuesday (20), Caixa announced the expansion of the bank’s expansion plan, which will have 268 units, with 168 of them focused on retail and another 100 focused on serving agribusiness clients. Thus, Caixa Econômica Federal will be present in all Brazilian municipalities with more than 40,000 inhabitants.
Out of the 168 retail units, 70 will be built in the Northeast region, with Maranhão leading in units with 24, followed by Ceará with 17 and Pernambuco with 11.
For the Central-West region, the Bank will open 14 units, with 7 in Mato Grosso and 5 in Mato Grosso do Sul. In the North region, there will be 50 new units, with 28 of them in Pará. In the Southeast region, there will be 30 more, with 13 in São Paulo and 7 in Minas Gerais. The South region will have only 4 new retail units, with 2 in Santa Catarina.
