Those interested in applying for the Caixa Econômica Federal’s high school internship positions must be regularly enrolled in public or private educational institutions, actively attending Regular High School, Youth and Adult Education (EJA), Technical, and Higher Education courses recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), must not have been dismissed from public service, be Brazilian or a foreigner with a residence visa in Brazil, be up to date with electoral obligations if they are 18 years or older, and comply with military obligations.
It is also necessary to not have participated in an internship at Caixa Econômica Federal (Caixa) for a period equal to or greater than 2 years, unless a person with a disability, in accordance with the provisions of Article 11 of Law No. 11,788, of September 2008.
Must have completed at least 16 years at the time the internship begins, and must not have registration restrictions that prevent the opening of an account for the monthly payment of the internship scholarship.
Registrations for the Selection Process at Caixa
Those interested in applying for the selection process and competing for the internship positions at Caixa Econômica Federal must register between June 20 and July 14 of this year, by 12pm. The registration is done online, directly on the CIEE website, and there is no registration fee.
The selection process consists of two stages: The first is the online test, which is eliminatory and classificatory for all positions. The second stage consists of an interview, which will be conducted only for some positions, and also has an eliminatory and classificatory nature.
The application of the online test for high school positions is expected to take place during the registration period, between June 20 and July 14, 2023.
Salary Offered to Interns at Caixa Econômica Federal
The salaries offered by Caixa Econômica Federal can vary depending on the position and level of education.
For those approved for high school or technical positions, the internship stipend is R$ 400 with a work schedule of 20 hours per week.
For higher education students, the salary is R$ 1,000, with a work schedule of 25 hours per week, in addition to a transportation allowance of R$ 130 per month.
