Medical Exam Fees in MG
In Minas Gerais, for example, the fee for the medical and psychological exam will go from R$ 169.28 to R$ 200.20, with this new value being valid from February 1, 2023.

Dry Law
Another novelty in the Detran sector is the suspension of the Dry Law operation, as after a decree by Governor Raquel Lyra, which revoked some sessions of servers and suspended licenses, some police lost benefits and returned to the barracks. With the governor’s decree, Detran decided to suspend the operation of the Dry Law.
According to a note sent by Detran, the agency states that it does not intend to interfere with the governor’s decisions, and the decision to suspend the Dry Law is not related to her political background as she is the daughter and niece of people who have held political office.
Detran states that it is awaiting a position from the new government: “We hope for action with the utmost urgency to put back on the streets the traffic agents and other servers who have prevented so many accidents and deaths with the operation,” emphasizes the note released by the agency.
