The Futuristic Solar Car From Aptera Motors Will Begin Production in 2023, the Same Year the Company Plans to Deliver the First Units to Buyers
The solar car, designed by Aptera Motors, is already available for pre-order, and the first units will be manufactured next year, in 2023. The company has designed the futuristic electric vehicle, a three-wheeled vehicle with integrated solar cells, a feature that provides an incredible range of 1600 km in the top-of-the-line model.
Some companies have the ambitious goal of using solar energy to allow drivers of electric vehicles to avoid dependence on public charging stations. Aptera Motors is one of the companies betting on the concept and intends to put it into practice with the creation of the solar car.
The vehicle, which looks like it came straight out of science fiction movies, has already received more than 22,000 reservations in pre-sale worldwide. The model is scheduled to go into production sometime in 2023.

Futuristic Solar Car From Aptera Motors Can Travel Up to 1600 Kilometers on a Full Battery Charge
When the battery is fully charged, in the version of the solar car with the most powerful equipment, the vehicle has an impressive range of 1,600 kilometers. This demonstrates that the concept of combining a highly efficient design with solar cells has the potential to be very successful in the future.
On the manufacturer’s website, users are allowed to customize the futuristic solar car according to the preferences and budget of the buyer. The most complete version of the electric vehicle is priced at US$ 50,700, which is approximately R$ 266,400 at the current exchange rate.
Meanwhile, the most basic model, which has a range of only 400 kilometers, costs US$ 25,900 (approximately R$ 136,000), being nearly half the price of the more expensive options. Initially, the price may not be accessible to everyone; however, consumers are optimistic, considering the innovation and technologies employed in the development of the model.
