  • National Driver’s License (CNH), at least category “B”.
  • For delegate, proof of three years of legal practice or police activity is required.

Structure of the Federal Police Contest Tests

  • Objective – 120 items in “True or False” style. For agent/clerk/fingerprint analyst positions, the test is divided into three blocks (Portuguese, Legal Knowledge, Specific Knowledge). For delegate, all content is specific; for expert, 50 basic items + 70 specific.
  • Discursive
    • Delegate: three essay questions + professional piece;
    • Other positions: essay text of up to 30 lines.
  • TAF – fixed bar, 12-minute run, 50 m swim, and shuttle run (agility).

Why Is It Worth It?

  1. Competitive salary and planned increases – agents and similar positions rise to R$ 15,710.10 in 2026; delegate and expert to R$ 28,831.70.
  2. Stability – statutory regime.
  3. Benefit package – food assistance of R$ 1,000, health assistance, preschool, and border additional when applicable.
  4. Increased workforce – the Federal Government signals priority in combating organized crime and border issues, reinforcing the likelihood of additional calls.

Quick Tips for Those Competing

  • Plan your study in cycles: initial focus on Portuguese, IT, and Constitutional Law (high weight for everyone); then delve into the specific blocks for your position.
  • Simulate the TAF right away: history shows that about 20% of those approved in the objective test are eliminated in the physical test.
  • Train the Cebraspe style: the bank demands fine reasoning in “true/false” judgments with penalties for errors – solve previous questions from PF 2021 and PRF 2023.
  • Keep track of amendments: large contests often have schedule or content adjustments; register on the bank’s website to receive alerts.

Where to Find the Federal Police 2025 Announcement and More Information

The complete document is available on the Cebraspe website (under “PF 25 – OPENING”). It is also possible to directly download the official PDF on the Federal Police channels and in the Official Federal Gazette.

Next Steps – Applications open on May 26. If your goal is to join the PF in 2025, the clock is already ticking: there are just over two months until the exam. Review the announcement, get organized, and good luck with your studies!
