Understand How the Selection Process and Quotas Work
The selection of candidates will be made exclusively based on the results obtained in the National High School Exam (Enem).
The UFC will consider the editions of Enem for 2023, 2024, or 2025, using the best weighted average obtained by the candidate in these editions for classification.
The university strictly follows the Quota Law (Law No. 12.711/2012). This means that there are reserved spots for students who completed their high school education entirely in public schools. Within this reserve, there are specific subquotas for low-income candidates, self-declared blacks, browns, indigenous (PPI), quilombolas, and persons with disabilities (PCD).
Additionally, the institution applies its own affirmative action for deaf candidates in the Letters-Libras course. Candidates competing for PPI quotas will undergo video analysis and possible in-person heteroidentification procedures to confirm phenotype.
What Is Needed to Enroll
To participate in this selection process for higher education at UFC, the candidate cannot have taken the Enem as a “trainee” and must have scored above zero on the essay.
Additionally, a minimum average of 450 points on the Enem is required, except for those interested in the Letters-Libras course.
It is essential that the candidate has access to a computer with internet to carry out the Enrollment Request stage, which involves sending all basic and specific quota documentation digitized in a readable PDF format through the Candidate Portal SISU at UFC.
UFC emphasizes that it is entirely the candidate’s responsibility to comply with the procedures, deadlines, and the veracity of the information provided.
Sisu Schedule at UFC
Be aware of the main dates in the selection process so you don’t miss the deadlines stipulated in Annex I of the notice:
- Sisu Applications (National): January 19 to 23, 2026.
- Regular Call Result: January 29, 2026.
- Interest Declaration in Waiting List: January 29 to February 02, 2026.
- Document Submission (Regular Call Enrollment Request): January 30 (from 1 PM) to February 03 (until 11:59 PM) of 2026.
- Verification Procedures (Disability and Heteroidentification): Between February 09 and 19, 2026, as per specific scheduling.
- In-Person Enrollment Confirmation (entrants of the 1st semester): March 02 to 05, 2026.
- Start of classes for the 1st semester: March 02, 2026.
