LFP Battery Provides More Range and 3x Faster Charging
The old Bolt used LG batteries and was discontinued in 2023.
Now, it receives CATL cells and an advanced electrical system. The battery has 65 kWh and guarantees 410 km of range.
The charging has also changed. With 150 kW DC, it charges from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes. Previously, the limit was 50 kW.
Additionally, it can use Tesla chargers thanks to the new NACS port.
More Practical Interior Full of Technology
Inside, the Chevrolet Bolt 2027 features bidirectional charging (V2H), capable of powering a house with up to 9.6 kW.
The dashboard received a bigger screen, ambient lighting, and more internal space.
Chevrolet kept physical buttons for basic functions, responding to consumer requests.
Strong Performance and Semi-Autonomous Driving
The 210 hp motor guarantees acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds, delivering performance worthy of more expensive models.
Additionally, the vehicle can be equipped with the Super Cruise system, which allows for semi-autonomous driving on compatible highways, enhancing driving comfort.
With this, this combination reinforces the focus on cost-effectiveness and practicality of the electric car, making it even more attractive for those seeking technology and efficiency.
Goodbye Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Following GM’s global strategy, the new Chevrolet Bolt abandons Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, marking an important change in the onboard experience.
Instead, the brand bets on its own multimedia system, with remote updates (OTA) that keep the software always updated.
According to Chevrolet, this decision ensures better integration between the vehicle’s functions and the system, in addition to providing more control and digital security.
The Cheapest Electric Car in the U.S.
With a starting price of US$ 28,995, the Chevrolet Bolt 2027 becomes the cheapest electric car in the United States, strengthening its position in the market.
Additionally, the price is lower than that of the Nissan Leaf and also more affordable than the entry-level Tesla Model 3.
Thus, the brand reinforces its strategy of offering real range, modern technology, and competitive pricing to attract new consumers.
Chevrolet Bolt May Return to Brazil
The Bolt was Chevrolet’s first 100% electric car in Brazil, marking an important step in the brand’s electrification in the country.
At the time, the last version, launched in 2023, cost R$ 279,990 and arrived in limited units.
Now, with the new generation and the possible local production of LFP batteries, the return to the country could happen at much more competitive prices, expanding access to electric cars in the Brazilian market.
A Game Changer in the Electric Market
The Chevrolet Bolt 2027 arrives with the mission to popularize electric cars. Additionally, it combines accessible technology with efficient performance.
With this, by offering more range, fast charging, and low price, the model promises to shake up the automotive market.
If it arrives in Brazil, it could become one of the best cost-effective electric vehicles in its category.
Thus, a renewed classic is ready to win over a new generation of drivers and further strengthen electric mobility in the country.
