Between Stone Towers And Hidden Mysteries, The Swiss Castle Of Blumenau Became A Stage For Weddings That Look Like They Are Out Of Medieval Tales

Located in the Velha neighborhood of Blumenau, a castle arouses curiosity because it resembles scenes from famous fantasy series.

Built in 1982, the property emerged from the dream of a Spanish man who wished to live in a real castle.

He drew inspiration from constructions in northern Spain and raised stone walls that still capture attention today.

From Spanish Dream To Swiss Brand

In 2003, the property changed hands. A Swiss man acquired the space and erected a second tower, now inspired by fortresses in Switzerland.

This transformation marked the beginning of a new phase. The location ceased to be just a residence and started to operate as a restaurant.

It was also during this period that it gained the name it still carries today: Swiss Castle.

Stage For Celebrations

Currently, an events company manages the space. The environment, which preserves towers, halls, and medieval details, has become a backdrop for weddings.

Couples seek out the castle because it offers a fairy-tale atmosphere. Many see it as the ideal place to mark a new stage in life.

Hidden Secrets In The Castle

The castle, beyond its beauty, holds mysteries. Originally, it had a U shape, enclosing a pool at the center. However, this feature was closed off by the Swiss owner.

Another secret remains beneath the library: a large wine cellar, built over four decades ago and now deactivated.

Preserved Memories

The first owner also maintained a collection of objects linked to medieval culture, such as a complete suit of armor.

Thus, between stone walls and tall towers, the Swiss Castle continues to blend past and present, preserving memories and celebrating new stories.
