Citroën Ami, Performance and Range
In terms of range and performance, the Citroën Ami has a range of 100km, a top speed of only 45km/h, and zero CO² emissions, with an 8.2 hp motor, perfect for urban trips, when connected to a charging station or Wallbox, which is a fixed charging point for electric vehicles, offering a considerably fast charging time of just 2 hours through its electric cable.
The vehicle features smartphone support, which can connect to the Ami interface. By accessing the Ami through the smartphone, it is possible to lock and unlock the vehicle’s doors using a QR code located on the aluminum base of the door handles.
Citroën Ami Electric Gains Greater Visibility in Brazil, Where It Will Be Possible to Use It Without a Driver’s License
After an announcement made by Citroën’s President for Latin America, Vanessa Castanho, the Citroën Ami gained greater visibility. She commented on the electrification strategies and the possibility of launching the electric car here in Brazil.
In the European market, the Citroën Ami has a much older history, with several followers. The vehicle is used as a shared car, within the carsharing model, which is a rental service for cars conducted via a mobile app. In Europe, the base rental price for the Ami is around 20 euros, approximately R$ 140 in conversion.
The Citroën Ami was designed for urban use. As it is a compact scooter, Citroën’s proposal is that it be used in urban centers, aiming to provide a new means of transportation for users.
