Can you imagine driving an electric car without needing a CNH?! For that moment may be approaching! With the advancement of technology, more modern autonomous cars, electric cars and many others are emerging in the market. The French vehicle manufacturer Citroën has developed a concept that unites all the advantages of an electric car, the Citroën Ami, with a bold design, easy to use and which received one of the best marks for comfort and practicality at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019.

The Citroën Ami, Citroën's electric car, is very famous within the European market and, to the delight of those who want to buy it, it should hit the national market soon. It has a body in the shape of a cube and has very compact dimensions, measuring 2,50 m long, 1,50 m wide and 1,50 m high, thus giving the impression of robustness, facilitating maneuvering and ensuring more agility.

Citroën Ami was manufactured with a focus on the city, with protections on all sides of the body. One of the vehicle's great points of interest is that the Citroën Ami will not require the use of a CNH, the future driver will be able to drive it without worrying about this detail. Here in Brazil, the Citroën Ami can even be driven by minors, who cannot obtain a driver's license.

In terms of autonomy and performance, the Citroën Ami has 100km of autonomy, the maximum speed is only 45km/h and no Co² emissions, with an 8,2 hp engine, perfect for urban trips, if connected to a station charging station or Wallbox, which is a fixed point for recharging electric vehicles, with a considerably fast charge, of just 2 hours through its electric cable.

The vehicle supports a smartphone, which can connect to the Ami's interface. By accessing the Ami via smartphone, it is possible to lock and unlock the vehicle's doors using a QRcode on the aluminum base of the door handles.

Electric Citroën Ami gains greater visibility in Brazil, where it will be possible to use it without a license  

After an announcement made by the president of Citroën for Latin America, Vanessa Castanho, the Citroën Ami gained greater visibility. She commented on the electrification strategies and the possibility of launching the electric car here in Brazil.

In the European market, the Citroën Ami has a much older history, which already has many fans. The vehicle is used as a shared car, within the model carsharing, which is a car rental service carried out through a mobile application. In Europe, the Ami has a base rental price of something around 20 euros, R$ 140 in approximate conversion.

The Citroën Ami was designed for urban use. As it is a compact moped, Citroën's proposal is that it be used in urban centers, aiming at a new transportation option for users.
