Faetec RJ Offers 1,200 Free Professional and Technical Qualification Course Slots in Industrial Maintenance, Civil Construction, Logistics, Technology, and More

1200 Positions Opened in RJ by Faetec for Free Courses in Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic, Electronics, Automation, Occupational Safety, and More

The Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec) from RJ opened, on last Monday (05/31), registrations for Professional Qualification (short-term) and Secondary Technical Courses. The institution will offer more than 1,200 new and remaining spots in the Bolsa Formação action of the New Paths Program.

In Belford Roxo, at the unit in the Heliópolis neighborhood, the openings are for low-voltage building installer electricians and building plumbers. The deadline to apply ends at 2 PM on June 9.

There are opportunities for Professional Qualification aimed at those with incomplete Primary Education I. Also, there are vacancies for Secondary Technical Courses offered in the “External Concurrent” format – intended for those currently enrolled in the second or third year of Secondary Education.

“The Professional Qualification courses, due to their short duration, allow individuals to train while engaging in other activities, always focused on the job market, with the goal of creating new professional opportunities,” advises Dr. Serginho, Secretary of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

João Carrilho, president of Faetec, explains the importance of the announcement for technical education. “We are providing young people attending Secondary Education in any educational institution the opportunity to complete their education with our technical course. It is an enriching opportunity, as it caters to all students in the State of Rio de Janeiro,” he guarantees.

The selected candidate will receive instructions for sending the necessary documentation and the form to secure their spot at the registered email. Classes are expected to start in July. Scholarship students will receive student assistance, with funding for one round-trip municipal fare, as well as snacks.
