Cladtek Diversity Initiatives Expand Opportunities for Women in the Energy Market, Strengthen Female Leadership and Boost New Programs in Brazil and Abroad

Company Presents Results of Female Inclusion Programs in the Energy Sector and Highlights Growth in Women’s Participation in Its Global Workforce

First of all, the multinational Cladtek presented new results of its initiatives aimed at gender equity in the energy sector.

In addition, the data was announced in March, the month when International Women’s Day is celebrated, which is commemorated worldwide on March 8, according to the United Nations (UN).

Thus, the company reinforces its strategy to increase female presence in the energy market, traditionally dominated by men.

As a direct result of these actions, women now represent about 30% of the company’s global workforce.

At the same time, 25% of the company’s leadership positions are held by women.

Meanwhile, in the global energy market, the average usually varies between 15% and 20%, according to data widely cited by industry studies.

Cladtek Programs Expand Women’s Access to the Job Market

Moreover, the initiatives implemented by the company have also advanced in Brazil, particularly through professional training programs.

For example, the Cladtek Learning Program achieved 41% female participation in the country.

Consequently, women entering the job market for the first time now have more opportunities for professional training within the company.

At the same time, the company created the Cladtek Pulse Trainee Program.

In this sense, the program was developed with a focus on technical development and leadership training.

Additionally, the initiative prioritizes black women who are students or recent graduates in Engineering, enhancing diversity in the industrial sector.

Thus, the company aims to promote technical qualifications and access to strategic positions within the energy sector.

Participants’ Experience Reinforces the Impact of the Programs

On the other hand, professionals who participated in the first editions highlight the benefits of the project.

In this context, materials engineer Juliana Fonseca participated in the first edition of the Pulse Program.

According to her, the selection and integration process was an important differentiator in the participants’ training.

Furthermore, the professional highlighted that the program prioritized technical training, experience sharing, and the development of professional autonomy.

“This selection and integration process was a differentiator.

It prioritized preparation and experience sharing,” Juliana stated.

Additionally, the engineer emphasized that with adequate technical training and confidence, women can occupy any role in the energy sector.

Selection Process and Training Reinforce Diversity Strategy

In addition to training initiatives, Cladtek maintains specialized recruitment teams aimed at analyzing candidates’ profiles.

Thus, the selection process prioritizes the potential for professional development, rather than just previous experience.

Subsequently, the selected professionals undergo a structured preparation and integration process.

This process includes:

  • Specialized technical training
  • Professional coaching sessions
  • Structured operational integration plan

This way, the professionals are prepared to work in different areas of the company, expanding opportunities within the energy industry.

Diversity is Associated with Safety and Industrial Innovation

At the same time, Cladtek’s Human Resources Director, Luciana Caldas, reinforced the importance of diversity in the industrial environment.

According to her, diversity directly contributes to increased operational safety, innovation, and efficiency in industrial operations.

Therefore, the company maintains a long-term strategic plan focused on promoting gender equity.

“The goal is for Cladtek to become a reference in the energy sector,” stated Luciana Caldas.

Additionally, she highlighted that the company seeks to contribute to structural changes in the energy industry’s culture.

In this regard, the company also shares its diversity practices and structures with other organizations.

Thus, the strategy seeks to encourage a broader transformation in the global energy sector’s culture.

Cladtek Maintains Industrial Presence in Brazil and the Global Market

Currently, Cladtek is considered the world’s largest supplier of corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) pipes.

In addition, the company also operates as a leading supplier of Mechanically Lined Pipe (MLP) for the energy segment.

The company maintains industrial units in Indonesia, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia.

These operations are focused on the development of cladding technologies, advanced welding, and high-tech industrial solutions.

In Brazil, the company has been operating for about 14 years, consolidating its presence in the national energy sector.

Currently, more than 800 employees work in the company’s Brazilian operations.

Cladtek’s factory in the country is located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, an important industrial hub in the region.
