L&L Crewing Is Ahead of Selection With Job Openings for Immediate and Long-Term Hiring in Brazil

Great opportunities for those looking for a job placement in the offshore maritime industry in Brazil or for opportunities abroad. SMS Manager – SMS Management

  • Higher Education Required, with desirable postgraduate in management of QSMS area.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in SMS management related to the segment of support vessels and their related activities in addition to their operational base.
        Main Responsibilities for the SMS Manager Position
  • Manage all activities of the company’s SMS department aiming for environmental preservation and improvement of health and safety risk conditions for employees,
  • Monitor and enforce the demands related to the SMS department 
  • Manage the preparation of the PPRA and PCMSO
  • Participate.
  • Knowledge of environmental rules and norms (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) and applicable municipal, state, and federal legislation for offshore activities
  • Knowledge and support to other departments for dealing with NON-COMPLIANCE,
  • Knowledge in preparing Aspects & Impacts, Hazards & Risks.
  • Preparation and conduct of internal and external SMS audits and certifications relevant to the SMS sector and meet client demands regarding occupational health and safety issues
  • Ability to develop the Objectives and Goals, KPIs for the company’s core activity and report to direct superiors
  • Plan training for the SMS area for various work fronts.
  • Report to direct superiors on the monitoring (KPI) of the company’s SMS management.
  • Guide and monitor activities performed by Safety Technicians, Nursing Technicians, Assistants, and Occupational Safety Aides at various work fronts of the company
  • Manage inspections at workplaces, identifying hazardous conditions, taking all necessary measures to eliminate risk situations, as well as training and raising awareness among employees regarding SMS preventive attitudes;
  • Assist in surveys and study statistics on work accidents, occupational diseases, and work, analyzing their causes and severity, aiming to adopt preventive measures
  • Manage the use and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the workforce
  • Inform salary expectations.

Chief Engineer 1OM – III/2 – IMMEDIATE Hiring

  • Looking for a client 1OM (III/2) for Chief Engineer position.
  • The contract will be long-term with experience in ships of PSV and OILREC type
  • Experience in concepts and practices in DP II vessels is required
  • Available: CIR, CoC, TBS1, EPSM, EOPN(EBCP), ECIA, EESS, NR – 10, 12, 17, 33, 34, and 35.
  • Technical course in DP
  • Familiarity with maintenance plans and IMCAS 117 and 220.
