Construction Works of the Anêmonas Bridge Will Have an Investment of R$ 25.9 Million and a Deadline of 18 Months for Execution; Access Points Will Also Be Requalified with a New Phase Budgeted at R$ 9 Million.
The awaited construction of the Anêmonas Bridge, in Joinville, is expected to start by the end of June, marking the beginning of another important phase in the development of the city’s road infrastructure. With an investment of R$ 25.9 million, the works are expected to last around 18 months and aim to connect Anêmonas Street, in the Fátima neighborhood, and Esteves Júnior Street, in Guanabara, through a structure 182.5 meters long, with a curved layout over the Itaum River.
New Bridge Integrates Strategic Road Plan of Joinville
The Anêmonas Bridge is the last on the list of structures planned for decades in the city’s urban planning. Other works, such as the Aubé and Nacar bridges, have already been completed, while the Joinville Bridge is still underway.
The new structure emerges as an alternative to the duplication of Guanabara Street and the existing bridge over the Itaum River — a project considered financially unfeasible.

The proposal includes significant improvements to the road infrastructure in the region, in addition to the possible creation of a binary between Anêmonas and Guanabara streets, which could further enhance traffic flow.
The expectation is that these interventions will bring positive impacts both for residents of the Fátima and Guanabara neighborhoods and for drivers using the road as a route to other parts of the city.
Strategic Importance of the Anêmonas Bridge
The implementation of the Anêmonas Bridge is not just an engineering work. It represents an important advancement for urban mobility in Joinville, facilitating movement in one of the busiest areas of the city.
With the new layout and the possibility of a binary, the work is expected to reduce congestion, improve travel times, and boost urban development in the southern zone.
The city hall reinforces its commitment to the announced schedule and expects to begin construction work between the second half of June and early July.
From this point, the city takes another step towards consolidating a modern and efficient road system.
