Brazil is already in 13th place in the ranking of countries that generate the most solar energy in the world, with over 15,300 MW of installed capacity, according to ABSolar (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy). A large part of this installed capacity, about 10%, relies on technology from the Austrian company Fronius.
The company celebrates 10 years of activity in the solar energy market in Brazil with actions to expand its presence among small users, as well as to advance in the segment of large self-generation plants.
One of the company’s plans in celebration of 10 years of the solar unit in Brazil is to boost sales of the new Tauro line, consisting of more robust solar inverters, in the power range of 50kW to 100kW. Alongside the 75kW Solution campaign, which offers the Eco model combined in kits or in larger quantities to meet large projects at very attractive prices.

Fronius Is Offering 10 Years Of Warranty On All Inverters Up To 10kW From The Brand
In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Solar unit, Fronius is offering 10 years of warranty on all inverters up to 10kW from the brand, aimed at small residential and commercial systems. The promotion is valid for Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus models and for the Fronius SnaplNverter line (Primo and Symo BR 10 family) registered from April 4, 2022, on the Solar.web portal.
The goal is to consolidate its position as a premium brand in the inverter segment in the country. With over 140,000 inverters installed and operating, amounting to about 1400 MW of installed capacity, or nearly 10% of the installed capacity in the national territory, Fronius regards Brazil as one of the largest markets for photovoltaic solutions. “We are gradually growing, and with the increasing demand for clean and more affordable energy sources, combined with the subsidy guaranteed until 2045 by the new regulatory framework for self-generation energy for those who install solar photovoltaic systems by January 2023, the expectation for the coming years is to increase inverter sales throughout this year,” says Alexandre Rezende, sales manager of Solar Energy at Fronius Brasil.
For The Next 10 Years
With the changes expected by the new regulatory framework, Fronius Brasil reinforces and bets on the quality and innovation of its equipment, which has built-in energy management capabilities, making self-consumption rates increasingly higher, optimizing the energy generation of the photovoltaic system to the maximum.
Another bet from the company for the coming years is its accessories, such as the Ohmpilot, a device dedicated to the intelligent heating of water, underfloor heating, and other heat sources, as well as the Wattpilot, an intelligent electric vehicle charger that makes it possible to define the best charging time while prioritizing the energy source to be used.
