Bajaj has filed images of the Pulsar NS400Z with the INPI, indicating that the model is already on the radar for the Brazilian market.
The registration comes as the local operation completes one year at the factory in Manaus (AM).
The brand has not confirmed a launch, but the document paves the way for potential homologation. The information was revealed by Motor1 Brazil.

Meanwhile, the national subsidiary celebrates the milestone of 22,373 motorcycles produced between June 2024 and June 2025, distributed among Dominar NS160, NS200, Dominar 250, Dominar 400, and the newly launched Pulsar N150.
This is the company’s first plant outside India and, according to Bajaj Brazil, the expansion cycle continues with a growing network and portfolio.

Differences Compared to Dominar 400
The NS400Z shares the mechanical base with the Dominar 400 manufactured in the country, but adopts a more sporty proposition and “streetfighter” design.
The LED projector headlight with a DRL in a lightning shape, the set of floating fairings, and the 43 mm inverted suspensions compose the identity of the Pulsar.
In terms of ergonomics, it features a hydroformed handlebar with adjustable levers.
While the Dominar prioritizes road comfort with a windshield and hand guards, the NS focuses on urban agility and a more forward-leaning posture.
Another distinction lies in the dashboard.
Instead of the dual-screen layout seen in the Dominar, the Pulsar features a single LCD with bonded glass and Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, music control, calls, and lap timing via a proprietary app.
Engine and Electronic Packages
In the electronic package, the NS400Z offers four riding modes — Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road — that alter throttle response and ABS operation levels.
There is also traction control with distinct intervention possibilities based on the selected mode, as well as ABS by mode.
The projector headlight, taillights, and turn signals are all LED.
For 2025, the model received performance updates and component enhancements.

Bajaj highlights the new Sports Shift, a clutchless shifting system available in full throttle in Sport mode.
The model also features wider radial tires and sintered brake pads at the front, solutions aimed at improving acceleration and braking.
The mechanical base continues with a 373 cm³ single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling and a 6-speed transmission.
The setup includes assist and slipper clutch, which eases the lever and prevents wheel lock during downshifts.
In the 2025 model, the announced peak power reaches 43 PS and the torque is 35 Nm.
Price in India and Brazilian Level
In India, the Pulsar NS400Z has a ex-showroom price of ₹ 1,92,328 in Delhi, a value that the brand itself presents after the price adjustment for the 2025 model.
This is the reference price level of the product in its market of origin.

In Brazil, Bajaj’s current lineup positions the Dominar 250 with a recommended price of R$ 23,000 and the Dominar 400 at R$ 26,500 (current pricing as of September 2025 on the official website).
These figures provide an idea of the price bracket currently practiced by the brand in the country, without implying any estimate for a potential local launch of the NS400Z.
Registration with INPI and Possible Plans
The presence of the NS400Z in the INPI database indicates design and name protection with the agency, a common step before product introductions.
This does not, by itself, imply a debut date or confirmation of sales, but shows that the company is safeguarding assets to act when deemed appropriate.
Motor1 Brazil reported having consulted the manufacturer about potential offering plans and is awaiting an official statement.
Meanwhile, the Manaus operation shows installed capacity and productive cadence compatible with an expanding lineup.
The advancement in production and the strengthening of the network usually precede new announcements, especially in higher value-added segments.
Still, any portfolio decision depends on pricing strategy, homologation, and assessment of internal demand.

Investment in Technology and Connectivity
For the Brazilian audience, the Pulsar NS400Z stands out with its technical package: ride-by-wire with modes, traction control, two-channel ABS with calibration by mode, assist and slipper clutch, clutchless shifting in sports scenarios, and complete connectivity.
In design, it emphasizes aggressive lines and a lighter, shorter setup than the Dominar, aiming for agile riding and a modern look.
Considering the registration with INPI and the brand’s industrial strengthening in the country, what do you think would be the ideal positioning for the NS400Z should it arrive here?
