Trail Model Now Features ABS on Both Wheels, New Finishes, and Full Dashboard, but There Are Still Points That Can Evolve

The Dafra NH 190 ABS 2025 arrives in the Brazilian market with anti-lock brakes on both wheels, full LED lighting, a 100% digital dashboard, and a more refined look. Manufactured in Manaus from a design by Taiwanese SYM Motors (where it is called NHT), the new version reinforces the brand’s urban trail appeal, balancing adventurous style, good performance, and fuel economy for daily use.

With a single-cylinder engine of 183 cm³, 18 hp of power, and a six-speed gearbox, the NH 190 delivers good performance, lightweight handling, and fuel consumption that can exceed 38 km/l with moderate riding. Even without structural changes, the addition of the ABS system on both wheels marks an important advancement in the safety package of the bike.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The Dafra NH 190 ABS 2025 maintains the same SOHC engine with four valves, liquid cooling, and electronic fuel injection, delivering up to 18 hp of power and 1.6 kgfm of torque. Its gearbox is six-speed, with well-spaced ratios for urban use and highway stretches. The top speed, according to the dashboard, reaches 154 km/h, although this number may be slightly optimistic. The total weight with a full tank is 145 kg, and the tank capacity is 11 liters, with 2 liters reserved.

One of the major attractions is fuel consumption: according to practical tests, the bike can achieve 30 to 38 km/l, varying according to riding style. The performance is efficient, especially considering its size and urban/light trail proposal.

Handling and Comfort

The suspension setup features a front telescopic fork with 140 mm of travel and a rear monoshock with 145 mm, mounted directly on the swingarm. There is no preload adjustment on the rear, which is a limitation for use with a passenger or heavy luggage. The wheels are spoked with chrome steel rims: 19″ in the front and 17″ in the rear, equipped with mixed-use tires and inner tubes.

The dual-level seat is wide, well-padded, and features an anti-slip finish. The riding position is comfortable and even allows standing riding in light off-road sections. The handlebars are set back and facilitate control during maneuvers and urban use.

Design, Dashboard, and Equipment

Visually, the NH 190 ABS 2025 is well designed, with aggressive lines and bulky fairings. It is available in graphite gray or black with blue accents. A curious detail is that there is no visible Dafra logo on the bike — the SYM name predominates, both on the engine and the fairings.

The lighting is full LED (headlight, taillight, and turn signals), with separate position lights and high beams. The 100% digital dashboard features a speedometer, bar tachometer, clock, voltmeter, and gear indicator. However, there is no onboard computer or instantaneous consumption, which limits information for the rider.

Other highlights include a USB Type A socket, spoiler and engine protector as standard, a modern-designed taillight, as well as visual finishes mimicking carbon fiber in various areas of the fairing.

Brakes and Safety

The major differentiator of the 2025 line is the inclusion of ABS on both wheels. The discs are of the wavy type (“daisy”), with 288 mm in the front (two-piston caliper) and 222 mm in the rear (single caliper). The system is efficient and provides good progressiveness and braking power.

Even during abrupt braking, the ABS operation is precise and does not compromise stability — something essential on slippery surfaces or light off-road use.

Negative Points and Price

Despite the robust package, the NH 190 still presents important limitations. It lacks a center stand and rear suspension adjustment — features present in its sibling NHX 190 Street. The digital dashboard could also be more comprehensive, with a fuel consumption gauge. Additionally, Dafra’s dealership network is still limited, which could impact parts replacement and aftersales service.

In the Fipe Table, a used unit of the NH 190 ABS appears with an average value of R$ 17,750. For a brand new model, the price is around R$ 19,990, offering one of the best cost-benefit ratios in the lightweight urban trail category.

E o risco e ir buscar uma moto dessa tão longe , e eles já quebrar no meio do caminho e não conseguir chegar ao destino, pois não tem peças de reposição , nem.nas concessionária…kkkkkkkk o barato que sempre sai caro .

Amortecedor traseiro muito duro. Há muita dificuldade em andar em estrada de terra ou saibro. Penso que possa haver possibilidade de acidente com a coluna do piloto se o mesmo se pegar desprevenido passando por um buraco, calombo ou pedra.
O painel umedece internamente facilmente.
Se andar em estrada de terra com barro, vai entupir o radiador de barro assim como a parte de trás do motor.
Reservatório do líquido de arrefecimento é muito pequeno, assim como o radiador.
