INSS Opens Public Competition with 250 Job Vacancies for Medical Examiner, with Applications Open Until January 9.

The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) has officially opened a new public competition. The public notice nº 02/2024, published in the Official Gazette on December 18, offers 250 vacancies for the position of Federal Medical Examiner. This INSS competition is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a job in the public service, with salaries of up to R$ 14,166.99. Applications will be open from December 23 to January 9, 2025, and the exam will be held on February 16, 2025.

About the Job Vacancies Offered in the INSS Competition

The INSS competition offers 250 job vacancies available across all states in Brazil.

The vacancies are for the position of Federal Medical Examiner, with the highest number of available positions in Ceará (40 vacancies), Bahia (25 vacancies), Maranhão (25 vacancies), and Pernambuco (20 vacancies).

The INSS 2024 competition offers vacancies reserving 5% for people with disabilities and 20% for black candidates.

To apply for the vacancies, candidates must have a degree in Medicine and registration with the Regional Medical Council.

The job vacancies require a 40-hour work week, and the initial salary for the position is R$ 14,166.99, with additional benefits such as a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00, health assistance, and education assistance.

Applications for the INSS public competition can be made online at the official Cebraspe website, from December 23, 2024, to January 9, 2025.

The registration fee for the INSS competition is R$ 120.00.

Applications must be submitted within the established timeframe to ensure participation in the competition and a chance to secure one of the job vacancies offered.

INSS Competition Stages

The INSS public competition will consist of two phases: the first phase is an objective test, which will be eliminatory and classificatory, and the second phase will be a title evaluation, which will be solely classificatory.

The objective test will take place on February 16, 2025, lasting 4 hours. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions covering general and specific knowledge.

The title evaluation is an important phase of the INSS competition, but only the objective test will have an eliminatory nature.

Candidates in the INSS competition will need to achieve a minimum number of points in each part of the objective test to continue in the selection process.

The preliminary results will be published on February 18, 2025, and the final results of the INSS competition will be published on March 19, 2025.

Validity of the Public Competition

The INSS public competition will be valid for two years, which may be extended for another two years at the discretion of the agency.

During this period, successful candidates may be called to fill the available job vacancies according to the needs of the INSS.
