This system includes two electric motors and a range extender that allows the Seres 7 to travel up to 1,300 km, setting new standards in the electric vehicle industry.
Features and Production of the Seres 7
Coming from the Dongfeng brand and assembled at the Chongqing plant, the Seres 7/Aito M7 is an engineering marvel, with dimensions of 5.020 meters in length, 1.945 meters in width, 1.760 meters in height, and 2.820 meters in wheelbase. The production capacity of the factory, inaugurated in July 2022, is 150,000 units per year, and the Seres 7 contributes about 700 daily units to this number.
In the Chinese market, the Aito M7 is offered in 2WD (rear-wheel drive) and 4WD variants, as well as configurations for five or six occupants. The 4WD version, which will come to Brazil, stands out for its advanced propulsion system and its ability to travel up to 1,300 km without recharging. With motorization options ranging from the efficient rear engine with 200 kW (272 HP) and 360 Nm of maximum torque to the powerful dual AWD engine with 330 kW (448 HP) and 660 Nm of torque, the Seres 7 adapts to the needs and preferences of drivers.
High-Performance Huawei Battery Thanks to the 1.5 Turbo Engine, Which Acts as a Power Generator
The technological gem of the Seres 7 is its 40 kWh lithium battery, which offers an electric-only range of up to 240 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle. The combined range of up to 1,300 km is achieved thanks to the 1.5 turbo engine, which acts as a power generator when the battery charge falls below the level set by the driver. As for prices, although the cost for the Brazilian market has not yet been revealed, it is expected to be above the Seres 5, which is currently sold for R$ 420,000.
