With an Investment of R$ 30 Million, Port of Pecém Expansion Works Begin in the State of Ceará

Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém integrates the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex (CIPP), in Ceará, within Brazil’s first Export Processing Zone, fundamental factors to ensure broad competitiveness for the national product.

The Government of Ceará has begun the expansion works of the Export Processing Zone (ZPE), at the Port of Pecém. With investments of around R$ 30 million, sector 2 (as it is called) will occupy an area of 240 hectares. The delivery forecast for the first module is by February 2021.
