Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional in Mining and Metals offers spots in free courses with certificates in Mine Equipment Operator, Mining Process, Electromechanical Maintenance, and Welding Processes. See below how to secure your opportunity!

Aiming to expand and strengthen the participation of Women and Persons with Disabilities in Mining, CSN Mining, in partnership with the CSN Foundation (CET), will offer free training courses for this audience.

The program aims for inclusion and the promotion of equal opportunities by encouraging capacity building, providing technical expertise, operational excellence, and an innovative spirit.

The free courses will be taught by CET for selected candidates in this process, in the following areas:

Electromechanical Maintenance – Industrial or Electromechanical Maintenance – Diesel Equipment
Welding in the Shielded Electrode and MIG-MAG processes
Basic Notions of the Mining Process
Mine Equipment Operator

Prerequisites:

High school diploma preferred
At least 18 years old
Availability to study in the morning period from 7 AM to 12 PM or in the afternoon period from 1 PM to 6 PM

Course Duration: Approximately 2 months, from November 2022 to January 2023. Classes from Monday to Friday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The candidate must register and take the online test for only 1 (ONE) course of their choice. If the candidate registers and takes the online test for more than one course or for all courses, that candidate will be DISQUALIFIED.
