To Qualify for the Contest of the Department of Education of the Federal District, One Must Have a Higher Education Degree in the Relevant Area. The Positions Vary from 20 to 40 Hours Per Week of Work.
The Decree for the Hiring of Temporary Staff by the Department of State Education of the Federal District (SEDF) Has Been Released. The notice states that there are positions in the reserve list for the position of Substitute Teacher, and that the salary for this position ranges from R$ 2,214.28 to R$ 4,228.56 per month, depending on the amount of work required from the individual (workload).
The publication of the notice was the responsibility of the Institute Quadrix bank, and the deadline for accepting applications was from February 15 to 20, 2023. Applications will only be accepted online, through the official event website, and there will be no fee associated with the application.
According to the notice, interested parties must submit their documents between February 15 and 22. On February 24, the preliminary results of the evaluation of the candidates’ documents and work experience will be announced.

The contest for the Department of State Education of the Federal District is for the formation of a reserve list of temporary staff, in the following academic areas:
- Administration;
- Arts;
- Biology;
- Natural Sciences;
- Nursing;
- Philosophy;
- Physics;
- Geography;
- History;
- Information Technology;
- Languages (Spanish, French, English, Japanese, Sign Language, Portuguese);
- Mathematics;
- Dentistry;
- Chemistry;
- Sociology.
The selection process will have only one stage, consisting of the evaluation of documents and the examination of professional activity time.
To qualify for the application, one must hold a higher education degree in a relevant field. There are positions that vary from 20 to 40 hours per week of work.

- Literacy Activity Bonus – GAA;
- Special Education Activity Bonus – GAEE;
- Rural Area Activity Bonus – GAZR;
- Teaching Activity Bonus in Differentiated Education Institutions – GADEED;
- Teaching Activity Bonus in Institutions of Restriction and Deprivation of Liberty – GADERL.
The objective of the selection process is to reinforce the reserve list of the Department of Education of the Federal District, which was initially established by Notice No. 27, released in September 2021 for temporary instructors. The approved candidate will only have the right to exercise the teaching position and may be called upon to fill gaps if the Curriculum Component of the respective reserve list, formed by Notice No. 27 of 2021, has been exhausted. Additionally, the approved candidate can only be called if there is a shortage.
It is important to emphasize that a permanent employment relationship with the Government of the Federal District cannot be established through temporary contracts. The final, provisional, and temporary demands resulting from the legal absence of effective instructors from the SEDF will be met by the teachers.

On the website of the organizing entity, the Instituto Quadrix, the application notice for the SEDF contest for temporaries will be available from February 15 to 20. The first thing to do is to fill out the form with all the necessary information. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!
As stated in Annex III of the notice, the professional must choose a Curriculum Component, a workplace (CRE), and a work shift before completing the application process. There will be no charge for the application.
The qualifications, as well as previous professional experience, will be taken into account during the selection process. When filling out a specific online form between February 15 and 22, the candidate is required to provide information about their credentials and professional experience.
On February 24, the preliminary results will be available for viewing on the Instituto Quadrix website. The complementary selection procedure is legitimate, non-extendable, and limited to the duration of the current academic year.
