The New Detran Contest Gained More Information About Coordination and Available Positions, Check Below
On the last 23rd, the official gazette published the ordinance that defines the Personnel Management Coordination as responsible for including information in the system of the State Court of Accounts (TCE RJ) related to the Detran RJ contest. This measure meets the resolutions nº286 and nº293 from 2018 from the Court of Accounts, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the new selection process of Detran, according to the site FolhaQ Concursos.
The expectation for a new contest for positions at Detran RJ has been present since 2019, with studies initiated in that year. The plan for positions and rotations, when approved, can be the necessary boost for the publication of the notice.
In 2022, the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro sent Governor Cláudio Castro the new plan for positions and changes of Detran RJ. This project, still under analysis, opens perspectives for a new notice of vacancies. If approved, the plan will offer Professional Valuation and Functional Excellence Bonuses, additional benefits, and salary progressions for various positions.

Job Opportunities with the New Detran Contest for Positions
Although specific details about positions have not yet been disclosed, the expectation is for a variety of opportunities for high school and higher education levels. The confirmation came from the State Secretary of Administration (SEAD RN), which intends to publish the notice later this year.
There is high anticipation for the new contest for positions at Detran, especially considering the various roles traditionally offered by the agency. The previous contest, in 2010, provided opportunities for positions such as Traffic Agent, Traffic Analyst, Public Service Technician, and Traffic Assistant.
The last contest for positions at Detran RJ took place in 2013, offering 800 positions for middle-level technical assistants. This selection covers different areas, from traffic technical assistants to technical assistants in IT. The state’s financial difficulties, evidenced by the Fiscal Recovery Regime, have been an obstacle for new voluntary options.
