IFMA Contest Has Organizing Committee Defined and Announces Dozens of Positions for Technicians and Teachers

IFMA Announced a New Public Competition Coming Soon. The Exam Will Offer Positions for Technicians and Professors with Salaries That May Exceed R$ 4 Thousand Monthly.

The public competition of Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA), which aims to offer positions for Technicians and Professors, already has an organizing committee defined. Through a bidding exemption, the AOCP institute will be responsible for conducting the exam. The notice of the exemption was published last Thursday (17) in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).

IFMA Competition Will Have 45 Positions for Technicians and Professors

The public competition will offer positions for the teaching staff, with vacancies for professors and technical-administrative positions. The next step will be to sign the contract, finalize the schedule, and soon after, publish the public notice. The expectation is that the public competition will be launched this year. The institute will offer 45 positions in its competition, as this is the number specified in the basic project.

Of the total, nine of these opportunities are for professors, and 36 for technical-administrators in careers of middle, technical, and higher levels. For the technical-administrative opportunities, the salaries are R$ 2,904.96 for the positions at the middle and technical levels.

For the higher-level opportunities, salaries reach R$ 4,638.66. These values already include the food allowance of R$458. The professors’ salaries will depend on each individual’s level of specialization. Below, we have separated the remunerations paid by qualification:

• For those with a degree: R$3,130.85;
• For those with a master’s degree: R$4,304.92;
• For those with a specialization course: R$3,600.48;
• For those with an improvement course: R$3,365.66;
• For those with a doctorate: R$5,831.21.

Registrations and Stages of the Selection Process of the Public Competition

According to the basic project of the IFMA competition, registrations for the exam must be open for a period of at least 10 business days and made solely through the internet, on the page of the contracted organizing committee.

Exempt from paying the registration fee will be candidates registered in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs, who are members of low-income families and also those who are bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.

The first stage of the public competition, with an objective test applicable to the 2 careers and with eliminatory and classificatory nature, will contain questions on general knowledge and specific knowledge, in quantities and weights to be defined in the notice.

The second phase, consisting of performance tests, is exclusive to the position of Professor of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education, with an eliminatory and classificatory nature, and will consist of a class taught at the undergraduate level on the subject indicated for each sub-area subject to selection, in front of an examining board, and must last a maximum of one hour.

The title evaluation will be applied only to the professors of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education, with a classificatory nature. There will also be the process of hetero-identification and evaluation by the multidisciplinary team.
