According to the announcement issued by the Navy, the public contest aims to fill 42 vacancies in various areas, intended for professionals with higher education. According to the public contest announcement of the Brazilian Navy, there are various opportunities for professionals who are qualified in the following areas:
- Medicine (25 job openings);
- Dentistry (4 vacancies);
- Engineering (3 vacancies);
- Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition (1 vacancy for each);
- Administration, Accounting Sciences, or Economics (5 vacancies for each).
Candidates who are approved in the public contest of the Brazilian Navy will participate in a Training Course at the Admiral Wandenkolk Instruction Center (Ciaw), in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The course duration ranges from 31 to 36 weeks, depending on the area chosen by the candidate.

Age Criteria To Occupy One Of The Vacancies In The Positions Of The Public Contest Of The Brazilian Navy
According to the announcements released by the Brazilian Navy, some age criteria have been adopted for those intending to participate in the public contest.
Those who turn a maximum of 28 years old by January 1, 2023, can compete for the areas of Engineering, Physical Education, Administration, Accounting Sciences, and Economics. Those who turn a maximum of 34 years old by June 30, 2023, may compete for the areas of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, and Pharmacy.
Applications
Applications for the public contest of the Brazilian Navy will be open until July 24, and a fee of R$ 140 is required to confirm the candidate’s application.
