The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) Announced the Announcement of the Aeronautics Competition 2025, Offering 50 Vacancies for Entry into the Air Force Academy (AFA), in Pirassununga, São Paulo. The Exam Includes Theoretical Tests, Physical Conditioning Assessment, and Medical and Psychological Exams. See Below the Essential Information About Requirements, Steps, and Schedule.

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB), therefore, published the announcement of the Aeronautics competition 2025 in the Official Gazette, specifically in March 2025. Furthermore, the exam provides for the selection of 50 candidates for training at the Air Force Academy (AFA).

Notably, this edition brings a novelty: women will be able to compete for all vacancies, including those for Infantry. This occurs because the Command of the Aeronautics announced this decision in 2024, shortly after the analysis by the Ministry of Defense.

The opportunities are distributed among the following courses:

  • Aviator Officers (CFOAV): 5 vacancies (4 open competition and 1 for black candidates);

The participation fee is R$ 120.00. However, low-income candidates, registered in the Unified Cadastre for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) or bone marrow donors may request an exemption between April 7 and 10, 2025, as established in the announcement.

Thus, throughout this period, they will have access to a complete education, which will undoubtedly contribute to their professional qualification.

The Aeronautics competition 2025, therefore, represents an excellent opportunity for those who wish to enter a military career. Furthermore, with 50 confirmed vacancies, proper planning becomes essential. Thus, candidates need to prepare in advance to meet the required criteria. More than that, it is essential to stay attentive to the eliminatory phases, which, in turn, demand dedication and strategy.

It is expected that the approved candidates will begin the course in February 2026, as per the Official Gazette. For more information and access to the complete announcement, interested parties should follow the official channels of the Brazilian Air Force.
