Entries for the Brazilian Army Public Competition Are Now Open, Offering 440 Spots for the Officer Training and Graduation Course in Military Teaching

The Brazilian Army public competition (EsPCEx 2023) is offering 440 spots, of which 40 are aimed at the female public. The competition will focus on the Officer Training and Graduation Course in Military Teaching. Of the total vacancies, 80 are reserved for black men and 8 for black women. Those who wish to compete for these opportunities in EsPCEx 2023 must perform self-declaration at the time of registration. The next phase is to undergo a Heteroidentification Procedure to verify the declaration.

Who Can Participate in the Brazilian Army Public Competition?

Interested parties must be Brazilian with ages between 17 and 22 years as of December 31 of the enrollment year. Those planning to participate in the EsPCEx public competition must access the Brazilian Army Preparatory School website by May 23.

The fee to be paid is R$100.00 and can be paid up to one day after the end of registrations. Those who are bone marrow donors, have a low-income family, or are registered in CadÚnico will be entitled to a fee exemption.

Those interested in requesting the exemption will have until the 11th of next month, and the preliminary list with the names of the approved will be published by May 5. Those who do not agree can appeal until May 10.

Learn More About the Selection Process of the Brazilian Army Public Competition

The selection process of the EsPCEx 2023 public competition will consist of four eliminatory stages. They are: Intellectual Exam, Physical Aptitude Exam, Psychological Evaluation, and Health Inspection. In addition to the Intellectual Exam, all stages will take place in Campinas, and this stage will be held on September 17 and 18 at the Military Organizations headquarters mentioned in the announcement.

On the first day of the stage, candidates for the Brazilian Army Public Competition, in addition to writing an essay, will answer 20 questions in Portuguese, 12 in Chemistry, and 12 in Physics. Click this link to register.

On the second day, there will be 20 questions in math, 12 in Geography, 12 in History, and 12 in English. The stages do not have a specific date, as they can be postponed. For example, pregnant women who gave birth less than six months ago may take the Physical Aptitude Test while the competition is valid. When Will the Result Be Released?

On September 19, starting at 6 PM, the answer key for the tests will be published on the Brazilian Army Preparatory School website. Candidates for the vacancies in the EsPCEx 2023 Public Competition will have until the 22nd of the same month to appeal.

The publication of the answer key after the appeals is scheduled for the 17th of the following month (October). Enrollments must be done by February 17. However, candidates can request the early enrollment up to 2 days after being informed of the document analysis results necessary for the stage.
