Offering a salary of R$ 4,309.92, this position requires a higher education degree and a minimum qualification of a lato sensu specialization in the corresponding area.

When Will the Faetec Public Competition Edital Be Launched?
There will be reserved vacancies at Faetec for people with disabilities, blacks, indigenous people, and those with economic disadvantage. Hiring will be done for a period of two years, with a single extension allowed for an equal period.
The offer will be for professionals with diplomas ranging from specialized high school to postgraduate degrees. The initial salaries for positions in the Faetec public competition can reach R$ 4.3 thousand. The edital with the rules of the selection process will be published in the coming months.
It is worth mentioning that the last competition for temporaries at Faetec took place two years ago when the foundation published an edital with 635 opportunities. The offer was for positions at the secondary/technical and higher levels. Applications were received on Faetec’s own website. The selection process was conducted in a single stage, with eliminatory and classificatory character: evaluation of titles and candidate experience.
This stage consisted of an analysis of the curriculum, considering the academic background and experience in carrying out the activities, duly accompanied by the respective supporting documents. Those who obtained the highest score in the evaluation of titles and compatible experience with the position were classified in this Faetec public competition.
New Vacancies at Faetec for Permanent Positions Should Emerge Soon
In addition to the vacancies at Faetec for temporaries, the foundation is also seeking authorization to conduct a public competition with more than 400 vacancies for permanent positions.
To facilitate the contest, vacancies were identified following the state’s adherence to the State of Rio de Janeiro‘s Fiscal Recovery Regime (June 2021). A total of 482 vacancies were found, of which 407 are for teachers. This is expected to be the number of opportunities offered in the edital for permanent positions.
The process has already received a favorable response from the Economic-Financial Monitoring and Follow-up Commission of the Fiscal Recovery Regime of Rio de Janeiro (COMISSARF).
Currently, it is under analysis by the Civil House Secretary. The 2024 Annual Budget Law (LOA) for the State of Rio includes provisions for a new contest for the Foundation for Support to Technical Education. When approached by the media, Faetec did not provide any official position.
