New Public Competition of ANPD Offers 213 Vacancies at Medium and Higher Levels, with Opportunities in Various Areas of Activity
The National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) is preparing for a new public competition that will offer a total of 213 vacancies for medium and higher levels.
The new organizing committee has been formed, as published in the Official Gazette on December 23. This structure is an update to a previous committee that had already been appointed earlier in the month.
Formation of the Organizing Committee
The new ordinance determines the command units that will be part of this group responsible for organizing the competition.

- The names of the representatives must be indicated within five days after the publication of the ordinance.
- After the formation of the committee, the next steps include drafting the notice and choosing the organizing entity.
- The start date of the selection will be confirmed after signing the contract with the chosen company.
It is important to emphasize that, according to the authorizing ordinance, the publication of the notice must occur by May 18, according to the website jcconcursos.
Available Vacancies and Requirements of the New Public Competition
Of the 213 vacancies offered by the ANPD, 11 are for candidates with a high school diploma and 203 for higher education. The initial salaries have not yet been confirmed.
For the high school level, the selection will be focused on the career of technical activities of specific training, while for higher education, the options include:
- 51 vacancies for technical activities at the higher level
- 101 vacancies for technical activities of intellectual complexity
- 50 vacancies for technical activities of managerial complexity, information technology, and senior engineering
Justification for Hiring
The need for hiring temporary personnel arises from the creation of the agency itself and the growing challenges posed by the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), Law No. 13.709, of August 14, 2018.
The announcement for the opening of registrations will clarify the duration of the contracts, which may be extended as needed.
Simplified Selection Process
According to Ordinance CGA/ANPD No. 326, of December 18, 2024, a new Organizing Committee has been established for the Simplified Selection Process.
This process is intended for the hiring of personnel for a determined period, in accordance with Law No. 8.745, of December 9, 1993.
The committee will be composed of representatives from the following units:
- General Coordination of Administration (CGA)
- Division of Human Resources of the General Coordination of Administration (DGP/CGA)
- General Secretariat (SG)
Assignments of the Committee
Among the responsibilities of the Organizing Committee are:
- Define tactical-operational guidelines and monitor the progress of the selection process
- Oversee the execution of the contract with the hired organizing institution
- Manage the stages of the process, which include the analysis of notices, registrations, application of tests, among others
Selection for Ongoing Permanent Positions
In addition to the public competition for temporary hires, the ANPD is also preparing for its first competition for permanent positions.
Since 2023, the ANPD has requested authorization from the Ministry of Management and Innovation of Public Services.
Currently, the ANPD operates with 119 requests from other agencies, reinforcing the need to establish its own staff.
