To apply for the temporary positions in the Brazilian Air Force, candidates must hold a complete higher education degree and specialization in the medical field they wish to apply for. Besides that, it is also required that the candidate be a maximum of 41 years old by the date of incorporation.
The opportunities aim to select, summon, and register in a database, native Brazilian citizens of both genders, who are volunteers for Temporary Military Service and have completed higher education. If they are a former military member or an active-duty military member, they must not have completed 73 years of effective service in any of the Armed Forces.

Those who are approved for the positions without a selection process to join the FAB may be employed in any military activities or those considered to be of a military nature, in the Military Organizations (OM) to which they are linked, as well as missions aimed at defending the homeland and ensuring the constituted powers. As mentioned earlier, the temporary positions in the Brazilian Air Force are for various regions of the country such as:
- São Paulo;
- Belém;
- Recife;
- Canoas;
- Brasília;
- Rio de Janeiro;
- Manaus.
How to Register and Apply for Temporary Positions in the Brazilian Air Force
The registrations must be made between June 24 and July 8 through the FAB temporary convocations website. Interested parties must register and complete the application form.
Only after the registration period ends, according to the Events Calendar, will it be possible to print the Application Form, which must be sent together with the other documents specified in the Announcement.

The selection for the positions without a selection process in the Brazilian Air Force will occur through:
- Electronic Document Submission (EED);
- Validation of Digital Documents (VDD);
- Review of Digital Documents (RDD);
- Digital Curriculum Evaluation (ACD);
- Initial Concentration (CI);
- Health Inspection (INSPSAU);
- Physical Conditioning Assessment Test (TACF);
- Final Concentration and Qualification for Incorporation (CF).
TACF for Temporary Positions in the Brazilian Air Force
The Physical Conditioning Assessment Test for temporary positions in the Brazilian Air Force aims to measure and evaluate individual patterns of endurance and physical vigor, to be reached and demonstrated by the volunteer participants of this Selection Process, which will serve as a parameter to determine whether the volunteer has the necessary conditions to meet the physical demands to which they will be subjected during the training.
At the time of their presentation for the TACF, the volunteer must carry a valid original official identification document. The evaluations consist of specific tests, each having minimum performance indices according to the sex of the volunteers, as outlined in the announcement.
The test consists of a trunk flexion test over the thighs (25 repetitions for males and 15 for females) and a flexion and extension test of the upper limbs with support from the ground (13 repetitions for males and 9 for females) and a 12-minute run.
