Earlier this month, Constellation announced that its drillship Laguna Star began operations for Petrobras. Soon, the submersibles Gold Star, Lone Star, and Alpha Star will also join the Laguna Star in the fleet of units that will provide services to the state-owned company.
The start of operations for the drillship Laguna Star was scheduled for mid-October, and according to Bassoe Analytics, the daily rate of the contract is about US $ 155,000.
The 6th generation drillship was designed to operate in waters with depths of up to 10,000 feet, typical of the pre-salt, with a drilling depth capability of up to 40,000 feet and will be deployed in the BM-S-11 block of Petrobras in the Santos Basin.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Fluent English
- Solid experience in offshore drilling management, strategic orientation, ability to manage people and material resources, results-oriented, good relationship skills, ethics, and integrity.
