CSN authorizes acquisition of Chapecó energy company by CSN Mineração

CSN and CSN Mineração entered into an agreement for the transfer of all rights for the purchase of Companhia de Energia de Chapecó

The agreement made by CSN and CSN Mining was carried out at the beginning of the current month of July, in partnership with CSN Energia, the Astra Infraestrutura fund and BMPI, in the amount of R$ 427,5 million.

As a result, CSN Mineração will assume CSN's position in the contract for the acquisition of the energy company in Chapecó. Both the aforementioned assignment and transfer will have the corporate approvals required for such transfer.
