– Electrical Engineering (Junior Metallurgical Process Engineer)

Requirements: Professional graduated in Electrical Engineering with experience in steelmaking. Experience in Electrical Maintenance Engineering of large DC motors and high and medium voltage networks.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement methods, maintenance routines, and improvements in machinery, equipment, and facilities, aiming to ensure availability, efficiency, integrity, safety, and quality within the required technical standards and at a minimal maintenance cost.

– Metallurgical Engineering (Metallurgical Engineering Specialist)
Requirements: Professional graduated in Metallurgical Engineering with experience in steelmaking and involvement in metallurgy processes (iron ore reduction).
Responsibilities:
- Act on the reduction of iron ore and other iron-bearing materials in blast furnaces, focusing on process control systems and the quality of raw materials, inputs, and produced pig iron. Identify and apply statistical tools aimed at process improvement.
- Characterize raw materials (sinter, pellets, and iron ore) and inputs (coke and PCI coal). Desulfurization of pig iron and steel refining in the steelworks.
- Work on thermodynamics and kinetics of reactions in blast furnaces, statistics focused on process modeling, and physicochemical characteristics of raw materials and inputs used in blast furnaces.

– Chemical Engineering (Junior Metallurgical Process Engineer)
Requirements: Professional graduated in Chemical Engineering with experience in steelmaking and involvement in metallurgy processes (iron ore reduction).
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Coking and the use of coals in blast furnaces. Study of the effect of different types of coal on the properties of metallurgical coke. Physical and chemical characterization of coals and coke. Optimization of the coke purchasing process through supplier study.
- Familiarity with the physical and chemical characteristics of different types of coal. Laboratory analysis methods for defining the properties of coals and coke.
