The CSP Tech, a technology company in Rio de Janeiro, increased its annual growth by 25%, reaching a projected revenue of R$ 83 million in 2024. This company has stood out for its work with large corporations in Brazil and other parts of the world, demonstrating its influence in the tech sector.
By adopting the anywhere office concept, CSP Tech is managing to maintain its workforce of 300 people spread across the country. The company, which has become a technology hub in the market, also operates in the IT sector and other software solutions, solidifying its position as a major player in the market. With a strategy focused on innovation, GPTW 2023 has shown how technology can be a significant differentiator for sustainable growth.
Historical Context and Foundation of CSP Tech
It was a period marked by hyperinflation in Brazil, a newly approved Constitution, and in the field of IT, there was a market reserve policy. Concepts like internet, algorithms, and artificial intelligence were unknown or even thought of. It was in this challenging environment that programmer Nédio Lemos decided to found, in Rio de Janeiro, a company focused on technology: CSP – which stands for Consulting, Systems, and Projects.

Rise and Evolution of CSP Tech
What would be the fate of this initiative? In April 2024, more than 35 years after its foundation, that individual project evolved into CSP Tech, a corporation that has grown 25% a year for the last four years and expects to generate R$ 83 million this year. Currently, CSP Tech is an official partner of major brands such as Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce, serving mega corporations throughout Brazil and even abroad.
Among its renowned clients are companies like Ipiranga, Nestlé, CBF, and Grupo Globo, just to name a few. The company has a team of 300 employees distributed across more than 60 cities in the country. It adopts the policy ‘anywhere office‘, which allows remote work, facilitating the hiring of professionals from anywhere in Brazil. Nédio Lemos, the founder, continues to lead the company as CEO of CSP Tech.
Transition and Restructuring of Management
Furthermore, his son, João Pedro Lemos, has taken on leadership roles since 2019 as CRO of the company. João Pedro’s entry into the organizational structure marked a milestone in CSP Tech’s over three-decade history. Throughout this journey, the company faced various challenges but always saw them as opportunities. ‘We faced difficulties in 2019. The easiest path was to give up, but we chose to resist’, recalls the founder. That year, the company underwent a significant restructuring, creating a directory focused on strategic matters.
‘The team was more focused on operations than on strategy. We changed that in 2019, repositioned the brand, and expanded our product and service offerings’, Lemos recalls. This was not the first obstacle in the company’s history. The early years were particularly challenging, as CSP Tech started as an individual CNPJ.
First Steps and Expansion of CSP Tech
In the late 1980s, programming, analysis, and system development professionals were rare. Nédio Lemos received several proposals from large companies to provide these services. He then chose to formalize the legal personality of the company, giving rise to CSP. ‘I provided services for companies like Coca-Cola and Atlantic at first’, says Nédio. He operated like this for a while, but CSP was interrupted for seven years, being resumed in 1998 with a new business focus.
‘We began consistent growth, especially in the last decade, until reaching the current national recognition’, says the founder. The company has evolved alongside new technology trends. Today, CSP Tech is a technology hub that offers comprehensive solutions in computing, software, IT, and platforms.
Innovation and Strategic Partnerships
To stay at the forefront, Nédio Lemos believes that partnerships with giants like Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce have been essential. João Pedro Lemos highlights another crucial point: the company values a humanized organizational culture, investing in talent development.
CSP Tech has a training program for individuals interested in acquiring knowledge in the technology field. Of the 300 employees, 50 were trained through this initiative. ‘Our employees sometimes receive attractive financial offers, but they prefer to stay because of our company culture’, reveals Lemos. This differentiated approach has been recognized with several certifications. CSP Tech was ranked by GPTW 2023 as the fifth best company to work for in Rio de Janeiro and the 24th in Brazil.
Recognition and Social Responsibility
In 2022, the company was also among the 100 most inspiring Human Resources companies by Gupy and has a notable Glassdoor rating of 4.8 out of 5. CSP Tech is the godmother of the Forsoft Project, from the Association of Information Technology Companies of Rio de Janeiro (Assespro-RJ), in partnership with Senac of the state. This initiative aims to train young people in technology, offering opportunities for those who would otherwise struggle to enter the market.
The Forsoft project has been recognized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). In financial terms, CSP Tech projects a revenue of R$ 83 million for 2024, growing on average 25% annually over the last four years. The company currently has 70 active clients and employs 300 staff.
