Nutritionist – A professional degree in Nutrition is required, with a higher education degree and proof of class registration, as well as two years of experience in operational processes in industrial kitchens. Experience in offshore work as a nutritionist and management of sanitary risk with CBSP (Basic Platform Safety Course, also known as Salvage Course) is desirable, along with up-to-date training related to NR-37.

Head Chef – It is desirable for candidates to have at least completed elementary school and professional training of a minimum of 200 hours (theory and practice) from any specialized institution. One year working as a head chef or two years as a cook is required. Candidates must have completed the CBSP course and hold valid training certificates for NR-37 and T-Huet. If the experience as a head chef exceeds five years, professional training will not be required.
Cook – It is desirable for candidates to have completed elementary school and professional training of a minimum of 200 hours (theory and practice) from any specialized institution. One year of experience as a cook or two years as a kitchen helper and CBSP certification are required. If the experience as a cook exceeds five years and the candidate does not have professional training, proof of training will be required within 12 months after starting services. It is necessary to have training related to NR-37 and T-Huet up to date.
Baker – Elementary school and professional training of a minimum of 200 hours (theory and practice) from any specialized institution are required, along with one year of experience in the role or two years as a kitchen helper or baker’s assistant, with CBSP, NR-37, and T-Huet valid. If the experience as a baker exceeds three years and the candidate does not have professional training, proof of training will be required within 12 months after starting services.
Kitchen Assistant – Elementary school and a qualification course of at least 200 hours (theory and practice) from a specialized institution are required, along with at least six months of experience as a kitchen assistant or one year as a waiter. Candidates must have CBSP, NR-37, and T-Huet certifications up to date. If the experience as a kitchen assistant exceeds three years and the candidate does not have professional training, proof of training will be required within 12 months after starting services.
Waiter – Completion of elementary school and a qualification course of at least 64 hours from a specialized institution is desirable, along with six months of experience as a waiter or one year as a ship’s cabin attendant. CBSP and NR-37, T-Huet, CPSO, and BOMBAV/MCIA certifications are necessary.
If the experience as a waiter exceeds three years and the candidate does not have professional training, proof of training will be required within 12 months after starting services. Candidates must have T-Huet and BOMBAV/MCIA courses up to date.
Steward – It is desirable for candidates to have at least elementary education and a qualification course of at least 64 hours from a specialized institution. A minimum of six months of experience as a cabin attendant or in general services, or a statement issued by the contractor, detailing activities carried out during a minimum of 40 hours of practical training as a ship’s cabin attendant is required. CBSP, NR-37, NR-32, T-Huet, CPSO, and BOMBAV/MCIA certifications must be up to date.
