Qualification in Espírito Santo Trains Professionals to Board with Certificate and Monthly Aid

The Brazilian offshore market gains strength with the opening of 60 spots for a free technical course. The course prepares professionals to work onboard oil platforms.

The association Todos na Luta, in partnership with Instituto Reação, Senai Vitória, and Prio, promotes the initiative.
The latter is the largest independent company in the sector in the country.

The goal is to provide training to low-income candidates in the Espírito Santo. Enrollment will continue until August 9, 2025.

In addition, the approved candidates will receive a monthly allowance of R$ 700 during the training. Classes will take place in person in the capital city.

Evening Technical Training at Senai Vitória

The training proposal is intensive but accessible. The institutions will hold classes in the evening, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

The course will begin on September 24. In total, there will be five weekly meetings, along with six socio-emotional classes on Saturdays.

The structure ensures a total workload of 160 hours. All training will be offered at the Senai facilities in Vitória.

The selected participants will receive a recognized completion certificate. This enhances employability in the competitive oil and gas market.

To participate, it is necessary to meet specific social criteria. The interested party must have completed high school, be 18 years or older, and reside in the state.

Additionally, proof of low income and active registration in CadÚnico is mandatory.

This proof must be made via the summary sheet issued by the CRAS of the region where the candidate resides.

Two-Phase Selection Process with Online Screening

Admission to the course will be through a two-phase selection process.

The first phase will include an online test of an eliminatory nature.

Those approved in this phase will move on to the in-person phase, consisting of a qualifying exam.

This structure aims to ensure the entry of candidates aligned with the technical and emotional profile required by the offshore environment.

The expectation is to select professionals with the appropriate technical and behavioral preparation for the sector’s demands.

The training also focuses on the socio-emotional development of students, which is increasingly valued in the oil and gas segment.

The course meets the growing demand for operators prepared for isolated environments and challenging routines.

Therefore, the behavioral modules of the training promise to be significant differentiators.

Community Services and In-Person Enrollment

In order to broaden access to the opportunity, the institutions will hold in-person services in the communities of Vitória.

The actions will take place between August 1 and 2. During these meetings, organization teams will be available to answer questions and facilitate registrations.

Friday (August 1)

  • From 9 AM to 12 PM: Community Movement of the Engineering Neighborhood (Rua Joaquim José da Vitória)
  • From 2 PM to 5 PM: Square of the Samba School Imperatriz do Forte (Avenida Vitória, 927, Bairro Romão)

Saturday (August 2)

  • From 9 AM to 12 PM: Morro da Garrafa (Ladeira Anthero Braido – Seminário Nossa Senhora da Penha)
  • From 2 PM to 5 PM: Walk of Fame – Rua Desembargador Gilson Mendonça, 687, Gurigica (in front of MedSênior)

These actions aim to democratize access to the selection process. The priority is to reach residents of areas directly linked to the state’s oil activity.

During the services, complete support will be offered for technical guidance and enrollment in the course.

Solid Partnership to Boost the Offshore Market

The course Reação Offshore was born from an alliance between social, educational, and business institutions.
Thus, it strengthens joint action and also expands the social impacts of technical training.

Furthermore, Prio invests in local qualification, as it supports sustainable development and also inclusion.
In this way, it reinforces its commitment to the community and the generation of new opportunities.

At the same time, the partnership with Instituto Reação and Senai responds to regional demand.
This way, it offers professional training for the offshore sector, which continues to grow rapidly.

Meanwhile, the course helps reduce unemployment among low-income youth in Espírito Santo.
Therefore, it promotes fair access to the market and concretely improves employability.

Finally, the qualification includes certification, financial assistance, and also training focused on onboard operations.
Thus, the student connects directly with the reality of the national offshore sector.
