Partnership Between Motiva and Senai Offers 80 Vacancies for Residents of Greater São Paulo; See How to Participate in the Selection
A free Senai course in partnership with the company Motiva, the new identity of Grupo CCR, is open for registration to train train conductors in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The training is aimed at those who wish to enter the railway sector, with guaranteed employability for those approved.
There will be two classes of 40 students, totaling 80 vacancies in 2025, with a priority focus on residents of cities served by Lines 4, 5, 8, and 9, such as Itapevi, Osasco, Carapicuíba, Cotia, and São Paulo. Participants will have in-person classes at the Senai Vila Leopoldina, in the evening, and graduates may be hired by the operator as job openings arise in the six months following graduation.
Who Can Register for the Free Senai Course?
To participate in the free Senai course offered by Motiva, you must:

- Be at least 24 years old
- Have completed high school
- Have availability to work in shifts, including weekends
- Live in the region of the lines served by Motiva (Lines 4-Yellow, 5-Purple, 8-Diamond, and 9-Emerald)
Registrations are open until August 1st, via the Gupy platform (search for “Train Operator Training – Motiva”).
What is the Training for Train Conductors Like?
The training lasts three months, with in-person classes in the evening, taught at the Senai Vila Leopoldina unit in the West Zone of the capital. The curriculum includes:
- Railway driving techniques
- Operational safety regulations
- Customer service
- Train cab simulations
The course is free and fully funded by Motiva.
Is There a Chance of Hiring After the Course?
Yes. The company guarantees that all approved students at the end of the training will be ready to take real vacancies as opportunities arise in the lines operated by Motiva. Future conductors will be hired under CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws), with benefits such as:
