The institution stands out not only for its academic excellence but also for the innovation and global impact of its academic community, which includes 30 Nobel laureates among its faculty and alumni.

What Do Full Study Scholarships Cover?

The full scholarships for studying at UCL in England for free offer much more than just a three-year degree. They include a preparatory year aimed at preparing international students for the challenges of the engineering undergraduate course. During this period, students will take English classes and essential subjects for the course.

The scholarships cover a range of costs, including:

Tuition fees and preparatory course fees;
Living costs of up to £20,000 per year;
Travel expenses of up to £1,500 annually;
Academic materials (£1,500 in the first year);
Visa and health insurance;
Cost of the IELTS.

Who Can Apply for the Courses?

To compete for one of the full study scholarships in England and study for free, candidates must be Brazilians residing in Brazil and demonstrate financial need, as assessed by the University College London (UCL). In addition, it is necessary to have completed high school in Brazil with an overall average of 8/10 and similar grades in relevant subjects for the degree.

Although English proficiency test results are not required at the time of application, it will be necessary to present an IELTS or PTE taken after September 2023 for the visa application. If the student is awarded the scholarship, the exam cost will be covered by the institution.

Application Process

The application process closes on November 20, 2024, and includes filling out a form, submitting a school transcript, and a personal statement. If the candidate is eligible, they will proceed to the admission test in physics and mathematics, which will be held online on November 30.

Candidates who pass this stage will be called for interviews, and the final results will be announced on January 17, 2025.
